Using the tools
You may use PandaFileKit for personal and commercial work, free of charge, with no account. We may change, add or retire tools at any time.
Your files
Your files stay yours. They are processed in your browser and are not sent to us, so we claim no rights over them and cannot recover them for you. Keep your originals. You are responsible for having the right to process the files you use, for example documents that belong to someone else.
Results
The tools are provided as they are. We work to make them accurate, but we can't guarantee that every output keeps every feature of the original. Some trade-offs are built in and explained on the tool: stronger PDF compression turns pages into images; text extracted from Word and PowerPoint files doesn't keep their layout; OCR can misread characters. Check the result before you rely on it, especially for legal, financial, medical or official submissions.
Very large, damaged, password-protected or unusual files may fail or exhaust your device's memory.
Acceptable use
- Don't use the tools to break the law or infringe anyone's rights, including copyright and privacy.
- Don't use Sign PDF or Edit PDF to forge signatures or alter documents you aren't entitled to change.
- Don't attempt to disrupt the site, overload it, or get around its security.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, PandaFileKit is not liable for losses arising from use of the tools or their output, including lost data or a rejected submission. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be limited.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version; continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
