ZIP tools
Make, open and inspect ZIP archives.
Create, open or just look inside
Create ZIP bundles several files into one compressed archive, which is the easiest way to email or upload many files as one. Unzip files opens an archive and lets you save what is inside, without installing an extractor. View ZIP lists every file and its size without extracting anything, so you can check an archive before you open it.
Limits worth knowing
The tools handle standard ZIP files. Password-protected ZIPs, RAR and 7z archives are not supported. Everything runs in your browser's memory, so very large archives (more than about 250 MB once expanded) are refused rather than freezing the tab. Files are never uploaded, which also makes these tools safe for archives of documents you would rather not hand to a website.
