PandaFileKit

A free TinyPNG alternative that keeps images on your device

TinyPNG compresses on its servers, keeps images for up to 48 hours, and limits free use to 20 images per session at 5 MB each. PandaFileKit compresses JPG, PNG, WebP and HEIC in your browser with no size or session cap, and can aim at an exact size such as 100 KB for upload forms. TinyPNG is ahead on JPEG XL and animated PNG support.

Check the no-upload claim yourself

Every tool shows a network meter while it works, counting the bytes sent to a server. You can also open your browser's developer tools, switch to the Network tab and run a job: no request carries your file, because there is no upload endpoint to send it to.

Questions

Is there a size or count limit?

No fixed cap. Add as many images as you like; very large batches are limited only by your device's memory.

Can I compress an image to exactly 100 KB?

You can set 100 KB as the target and the compressor keeps the highest quality under it. It counts 100 KB as 100,000 bytes, so the file passes forms that count either way.

Does the image quality match TinyPNG?

We haven't published a side-by-side test, so we won't claim it does. Compare on your own images: nothing is uploaded, so trying costs nothing, and the result shows the exact size.
