Check where the WebP will be used

WebP works in current browsers but may not upload to older portals or open in older editors. If your browser can't create WebP files (some Safari versions), the tool says so and saves a JPG with transparent areas filled white; use Chrome, Edge or Firefox to keep transparency.

How much smaller will WebP be?

Often much smaller than PNG, especially for photos. Flat graphics vary; compare the result size.

Why did I get a JPG instead of a WebP?
