Copying slide text box by box is slow. PPTX to Text pulls the text from every slide into one file, useful for speaker scripts, study notes, translation or reusing content in a document. It also works for checking a deck for typos, since reading plain text is faster than clicking through slides.

Each slide's text is listed under a "--- Slide N ---" marker, including titles, text boxes, shapes and tables.
- Text is joined per slide, so bullet points on a slide run together on one line.
Notes, charts and pictures are skipped
Speaker notes, chart labels and text inside images aren't extracted. Slides are numbered in the order they are stored in the file, which can differ from the show order if slides were rearranged a lot. Only .pptx is supported, not the older .ppt.

Are speaker notes included?
No. Only text on the slides themselves is extracted.
Can I convert a .ppt file?
Only .pptx. Save older .ppt files as .pptx in PowerPoint, LibreOffice or Google Slides first.
Why is text in charts or pictures missing?
Chart labels and text inside images aren't stored as slide text. Use Image to Text on a screenshot for those.
Why is the slide order slightly different?
Slides are listed in the order they're stored in the file, which can differ from the show order in heavily rearranged decks.
