Counted with the browser's Performance API during the last job. It sees every request the page makes, but not what is inside them, so anything that is not a static download is counted above.
To check yourself: open DevTools → Network, clear the list, run the tool, and inspect each request. None will contain your file. You can also switch to offline after the page loads; tools whose engine is already downloaded keep working.

Save the pictures used in a presentation
Presentations collect photos, logos and screenshots that are tedious to save one at a time. This tool extracts the original media files from a .pptx into one ZIP.
- Recovering original photos from a deck you received.
- Reusing logos and screenshots from an old presentation.
- Collecting images from a pitch deck for a website.
- Getting back a high-quality logo or photo you only have inside a deck.
Everything in the media folder
Files are copied exactly as stored in the presentation, at the quality PowerPoint saved them, and named as PowerPoint named them (image1.png, image2.jpeg and so on).
Expect some extras and some gaps
Embedded video or audio stored alongside images may be included too, and some graphics may be EMF/WMF files. Charts, SmartArt and shapes drawn in PowerPoint aren't image files, so they aren't extracted. Images cropped on a slide are extracted uncropped.
Extract images from PPTX: questions
Are the images full resolution?
They're exactly as stored in the file, which is the resolution PowerPoint kept after any compression it applied.
Why is a picture I cropped on a slide uncropped here?
PowerPoint stores the full image and applies the crop when displaying it. You get the full stored image.
Why are there video or audio files in the ZIP?
PowerPoint stores embedded media in the same folder as images, so those can be included.
Are icons and shapes extracted?
Only if they're image files. Shapes, charts and SmartArt drawn by PowerPoint aren't.
