Counted with the browser's Performance API during the last job. It sees every request the page makes, but not what is inside them, so anything that is not a static download is counted above.

To check yourself: open DevTools → Network, clear the list, run the tool, and inspect each request. None will contain your file. You can also switch to offline after the page loads; tools whose engine is already downloaded keep working.

Look at JSON data in a spreadsheet

APIs and apps export JSON, but people review data in Excel or Google Sheets. JSON to Excel turns an array of objects into a table: every key becomes a column, every object a row, ready to filter, sort and share with colleagues who don't read JSON.

  • API responses and app exports.
  • Analytics and form-submission data.
  • Config or translation files for non-developers to edit.

Columns from every key

Columns are the union of all keys, in the order they first appear, so objects with missing fields still line up. Numbers and true/false stay typed. Nested objects and arrays are written into the cell as JSON text. If the file is an object that wraps an array, like {"items": [...]}, the first array is used.

Flat data works best

Deeply nested JSON ends up as JSON text inside cells; flatten it first if you need those values in their own columns. The header row is bold and frozen.

JSON to Excel: questions

How do I convert JSON to Excel?

Add a JSON file containing an array of objects and press Convert to Excel. Keys become columns and each object becomes a row.

What happens to nested objects?

They're written into the cell as JSON text. Flatten the data first if you need nested values in their own columns.

My JSON is an object, not an array. Will it work?

If the object contains an array, like {"items": [...]}, that array is used. A single plain object becomes one row.

Is my data uploaded?

No. Conversion happens in this browser tab.
