Counted with the browser's Performance API during the last job. It sees every request the page makes, but not what is inside them, so anything that is not a static download is counted above.

To check yourself: open DevTools → Network, clear the list, run the tool, and inspect each request. None will contain your file. You can also switch to offline after the page loads; tools whose engine is already downloaded keep working.

JSON → CSV

Choose one JSON file containing an array of records.

Open JSON data in a spreadsheet

API exports and app backups are often JSON, which is hard to read or share with non-developers. JSON to CSV turns an array of records into rows you can open in Excel or Google Sheets.

  • Reviewing an API response or export in a spreadsheet.
  • Sharing app data with a colleague who uses Excel.
  • Converting records for import into another tool.

Needs an array of objects

The file must contain a JSON array such as [{"name":"A"},{"name":"B"}]. Choose comma, semicolon or tab as the delimiter.

  • Choose semicolon if the CSV will be opened in Excel set up for European regional formats.

Columns come from the first record

Column headers are taken from the keys of the first object, so fields that appear only in later records may be missing. Nested objects and arrays aren't flattened into their own columns. Flatten or normalise the data first if that matters.

  • Compare the columns against a few records in the source.

JSON to CSV: questions

What JSON structure does it need?

An array of objects, like [{"id":1,"name":"A"}]. A single object or nested wrapper needs to be reduced to the array first.

Why are some columns missing?

Columns come from the first object's keys. Make sure the first record includes every field, even if empty.

How are nested objects handled?

They aren't flattened into separate columns. Flatten them before converting if you need each field in its own column.

Can I open the CSV in Excel?

Yes. If characters look wrong, import it via Data › From Text/CSV and choose UTF-8.
