Add a caption to a photo before sharing it, label parts of a diagram or screenshot, write a quote over a picture, or make a classic meme with outlined text at the top and bottom. The text is drawn into the image, so it shows the same everywhere you send it.

Type, drag, style
Each text box has its own font (sans, serif or mono), size (as a share of the image height, so it looks the same on any resolution), colour, bold and outline. Outline adds a dark edge around light text, or a light edge around black text, so it stays readable on busy photos. Drag boxes to move them or use the arrow keys; press Enter in the text field for a new line.
Fonts are standard system fonts
To keep the download identical to the preview, the tool uses fonts every device has (Arial, Georgia, Courier). Very long lines aren't wrapped automatically, so add line breaks yourself. Keep important text away from the edges if the photo will be cropped into a square or circle later.

How do I make meme-style text?
Use white, bold text with Outline on, and put one box at the top and one at the bottom.
Will the text look the same after download?
Yes. It uses standard fonts installed on every device, and size is relative to the image height, so the downloaded image matches the preview.
Is a watermark added to my image?
No. The only text on the result is the text you add.
