Counted with the browser's Performance API during the last job. It sees every request the page makes, but not what is inside them, so anything that is not a static download is counted above.

To check yourself: open DevTools → Network, clear the list, run the tool, and inspect each request. None will contain your file. You can also switch to offline after the page loads; tools whose engine is already downloaded keep working.

Turn sideways photos upright, permanently

A photo can look right in your gallery but appear sideways once uploaded or placed in a PDF, because the phone stored the orientation as a tag instead of turning the pixels. Rotate Image redraws the pixels in the new orientation, so it looks the same everywhere. It also rescues scans and screenshots that were simply captured the wrong way round.

  • Fixing a document photo that shows sideways on an upload preview.
  • Straightening phone photos before converting them to PDF.
  • Rotating a batch of scans taken in landscape.

Choose 90°, 180° or 270° clockwise

90° is a quarter-turn clockwise, 270° a quarter-turn anticlockwise and 180° turns an upside-down picture over. Width and height swap for 90° and 270°. The same angle is applied to every image in a batch.

  • A photo appears turned to the left? Choose 90° clockwise. Turned to the right? Choose 270°.

Saved as PNG, so check the size

Rotated images are saved as PNG, which avoids adding JPG artefacts but can make photo files larger. Convert with PNG to JPG or Compress Image if you need a small JPG.

  • Check the result is upright before uploading.

Rotate image: questions

Why does my photo look upright on my phone but sideways when uploaded?

The phone saved the orientation as a tag some websites ignore. Rotating here rewrites the pixels, so the photo is upright everywhere.

Does rotating reduce quality?

No. The result is saved as lossless PNG, so no compression is added.

Can I rotate several images at once?

Yes. The same angle is applied to every image in the batch.

Can I rotate by a small angle to straighten a photo?

No. Only 90°, 180° and 270° are available.
