Counted with the browser's Performance API during the last job. It sees every request the page makes, but not what is inside them, so anything that is not a static download is counted above.
To check yourself: open DevTools → Network, clear the list, run the tool, and inspect each request. None will contain your file. You can also switch to offline after the page loads; tools whose engine is already downloaded keep working.

How to turn a bank statement into a spreadsheet
Add the statement (unlock it first if it has a password). The tool reads the text positions, finds the columns and shows a preview with a guide at each column boundary. Drag a guide if a column is split or merged, then download the .xlsx. Amounts become numbers and dates become dates, so totals and sorting work straight away.
Step by step
- 01Unlock the statement if it has a password.
- 02Add it here and check the preview.
- 03Drag column guides if anything is in the wrong column.
- 04Download the Excel file and check totals against the PDF.
Downloaded statements work; scans don't
Statements downloaded from online banking are text-based, so every number can be read exactly. A scanned or photographed statement has no text layer; for those, use Image to text (OCR) and check the numbers carefully.
Dates: day first or month first
A date like 03/04/2025 could be 3 April or 4 March. The tool looks at every date in the statement: if any has a first number above 12 the whole file is treated as day-first, and the reverse for month-first. If nothing settles it, dates are kept as text rather than guessed.
Questions
Is my statement uploaded?
No. The PDF is read inside your browser, and the Excel file is built there too.
Descriptions wrap onto two lines. What happens?
Each printed line becomes a row, so a wrapped description shows as a second row with only the description filled. Filter or merge those rows in Excel.
Can I get one sheet per page?
Yes. Switch Sheets to 'A sheet per page' under the preview.
