Counted with the browser's Performance API during the last job. It sees every request the page makes, but not what is inside them, so anything that is not a static download is counted above.

To check yourself: open DevTools → Network, clear the list, run the tool, and inspect each request. None will contain your file. You can also switch to offline after the page loads; tools whose engine is already downloaded keep working.

How to convert HEIC photos to a PDF

Drop your HEIC photos, drag them into the order you want and save. Each photo becomes one page of a single PDF. The HEIC files are decoded in your browser, so you don't need to convert them to JPG first or install anything.

Step by step

  1. 01Drop one or more HEIC photos.
  2. 02Drag the thumbnails into the order you want.
  3. 03Save the PDF and download it.

Why iPhone photos are HEIC

iPhones save photos as HEIC (High Efficiency) by default because the files are about half the size of JPG at similar quality. Windows, many upload forms and some email recipients can't open HEIC, but everyone can open a PDF.

Good uses

Combining photos into one PDF is handy whenever you need to send several pictures as one document.

  • Receipts and invoices for an expense claim.
  • Pages of a handwritten document or form.
  • Front and back of an ID card for a single upload.
  • If the PDF is too large, run it through Compress PDF afterwards.

Questions

Can I put several HEIC photos in one PDF?

Yes. Add them all, drag them into order, and each photo becomes its own page in one PDF.

Do I need to convert HEIC to JPG first?

No. HEIC photos are decoded directly in the browser and placed into the PDF.

My PDF is too big to email. What can I do?

Phone photos are large, so the PDF can be several megabytes. Use Compress PDF with a size target to bring it down.

Are my photos uploaded?

No. Decoding and PDF creation happen in this browser tab.
