Counted with the browser's Performance API during the last job. It sees every request the page makes, but not what is inside them, so anything that is not a static download is counted above.

To check yourself: open DevTools → Network, clear the list, run the tool, and inspect each request. None will contain your file. You can also switch to offline after the page loads; tools whose engine is already downloaded keep working.

Specific jobsAadhaar card print on A4Print ID card front and back

Print both sides of an ID card at real size on one page

Landlords, employers, banks and government offices often ask for a copy of an ID with both sides on one page. ID card print layout makes that page from two phone photos or a PDF: each side is cropped to the card and placed at its exact physical size on A4 or US Letter, with cut marks if you want to cut the copy out.

  • A copy of a driving licence or national ID for a rental, job or bank application.
  • A printed copy of a membership or insurance card to keep at home.
  • India: Aadhaar front and back from the e-Aadhaar PDF, or a PAN card. Nepal: the national ID card or a citizenship certificate.

Card size, sides, paper, copies and output

The standard preset is CR80 (ISO/IEC 7810 ID-1, 85.6 × 53.98 mm), the size of bank cards, US driver's licenses, card-format licences in the UK, EU and most other countries, and many national IDs. Paper documents of other sizes can use Custom size in millimetres. Add a photo of each side, or a PDF: every PDF page becomes a source you can pick for the front or back, and protected PDFs open with their password. Drag the frame over the card edges; it keeps the card's shape, and a sideways photo can be rotated. Turn off Include the back for a one-sided card. Then choose A4 or US Letter, the number of copies (the maximum that fits is shown), cut marks, and PDF or a 300 DPI JPG.

  • Photograph each side flat, from straight above, on a dark surface and without glare.
  • e-Aadhaar PDFs open with the first four letters of your name in capitals plus your birth year.

Print at 100%, then measure

The page is laid out in exact millimetres, but printers often shrink pages to fit their margins. Choose Actual size or 100% and turn off Fit to page, then measure one card with a ruler: a CR80 card is 85.6 mm wide. A printout is still a copy, and some offices will ask to see the original card.

  • Check both sides are the right way up and not clipped at the edges.
  • Read the smallest text on the printout.
  • Delete photos of your ID from your phone once you no longer need them.

ID card print layout: questions

What size is a standard ID card?

85.6 × 53.98 mm (ISO/IEC 7810 ID-1, also called CR80). Bank cards, US driver's licenses, most card-format driving licences and many national ID cards use it.

Can I use a PDF instead of photos?

Yes. Each PDF page becomes a source you can pick for the front or back, and protected PDFs such as e-Aadhaar open with their password. The password is used only in your browser tab.

Why is my printed card smaller than the real one?

The print dialog scaled the page. Print at 100% or Actual size with Fit to page turned off, then measure the card: it should be 85.6 mm wide.

My card isn't a standard size. What do I do?

Choose Custom size and enter the width and height in millimetres, measured from the real document.

How many copies fit on one page?

The Copies field shows the maximum for the card size and paper you chose. Each copy includes the back unless you turn it off.

Are my ID photos uploaded?

No. Cropping and layout happen in your browser, so the ID never leaves your device.
