Counted with the browser's Performance API during the last job. It sees every request the page makes, but not what is inside them, so anything that is not a static download is counted above.
To check yourself: open DevTools → Network, clear the list, run the tool, and inspect each request. None will contain your file. You can also switch to offline after the page loads; tools whose engine is already downloaded keep working.

Convert a GIF to a lossless PNG
PNG keeps GIF's sharp edges and transparency without GIF's 256-colour ceiling for any edits you make later, and is accepted by nearly every editor and document tool.
- Editing an old GIF logo or icon.
- Extracting a still frame from an animation with transparency intact.
- Using GIF graphics in slides or documents.
First frame, stored losslessly
Only the first frame of an animated GIF is converted. PNG is lossless, so there is no quality setting and every pixel is kept exactly.
What doesn't change
The colours are the GIF's own, so the PNG looks identical rather than better. To turn a video into a GIF instead, use Video to GIF.
- Check transparent areas on a dark background.
GIF to PNG: questions
Is transparency kept?
Yes. PNG supports transparency, so transparent pixels stay transparent.
What happens to an animated GIF?
Only the first frame is converted.
Is there any quality loss?
No. PNG is lossless, so the frame is stored exactly as it appears in the GIF.
Is my GIF uploaded?
No. The conversion happens in your browser.
