Counted with the browser's Performance API during the last job. It sees every request the page makes, but not what is inside them, so anything that is not a static download is counted above.
To check yourself: open DevTools → Network, clear the list, run the tool, and inspect each request. None will contain your file. You can also switch to offline after the page loads; tools whose engine is already downloaded keep working.

How to remove a date stamp
Add the photo, zoom in on the date and paint over the digits with a brush a little wider than the text. When you run the tool, the painted area is filled from the surrounding picture by an inpainting model (MI-GAN) that runs in your browser. Only the painted pixels change; the rest of the photo keeps its original pixels.
Step by step
- 01Add the scanned or digital photo.
- 02Zoom in and paint over every digit, slightly past the edges of the glow.
- 03Preview the fill, touch up with more strokes if a shadow remains.
- 04Download the cleaned photo.
Getting a clean result
Camera dates have a soft coloured glow around each digit. Cover the glow too, otherwise a faint outline stays behind. Date stamps usually sit on sky, walls or grass, which fill very convincingly; a date printed across a face or detailed pattern is harder and may need two passes.
- Scanned prints: scan at 600 DPI so the digits have enough pixels around them.
- Many photos from one roll? Each one needs its own painted mask, because the date moves with framing.
Your own photos
This is meant for your own pictures and family archives. Use it on photos you own or have permission to edit.
Questions
Will the rest of my photo lose quality?
No pixels outside the painted area are changed. The file is re-saved in its original format, so a JPG is re-encoded once at high quality.
Why does the first run take longer?
The fill model (about 28 MB) downloads once and is kept by your browser, so later runs start straight away.
Is the photo uploaded?
No. Painting and filling run in this browser tab. The network meter shows 0 B sent; the only download is the model itself.
