Counted with the browser's Performance API during the last job. It sees every request the page makes, but not what is inside them, so anything that is not a static download is counted above.
To check yourself: open DevTools → Network, clear the list, run the tool, and inspect each request. None will contain your file. You can also switch to offline after the page loads; tools whose engine is already downloaded keep working.

What is the e-Aadhaar password?
The password is the first four letters of your name as printed on Aadhaar, in capital letters, followed by your year of birth (YYYY). For example, SURESH KUMAR born in 1990 would use SURE1990. If your name is shorter than four letters, use the whole name followed by the year, for example RAM1985.
Step by step
- 01Add the downloaded e-Aadhaar PDF.
- 02Type the password: first 4 letters in capitals + birth year.
- 03Unlock and download the copy.
- 04Keep it private: it is an identity document.
Common mistakes
The letters must be capitals, and there is no space between the name and the year. Use the name exactly as it appears on the card, including initials if they come first.
- Spaces are skipped: SAI KUMAR born in 1990 uses SAIK1990.
- A full stop after an initial counts as a character in UIDAI's own example: P. KUMAR born in 1990 uses P.KU1990.
- Only the year of birth is used, not the full date.
Questions
Is my Aadhaar uploaded to unlock it?
No. The PDF is decrypted inside your browser tab and never sent to a server.
Can I use the unlocked copy for KYC?
The content is unchanged, but some services verify the digital signature on the original download. Keep the original e-Aadhaar PDF as well.
The password doesn't work. What else can I check?
Check the spelling on your card, try the name without initials, and confirm the birth year. The tool cannot guess or recover the password.
