Counted with the browser's Performance API during the last job. It sees every request the page makes, but not what is inside them, so anything that is not a static download is counted above.
To check yourself: open DevTools → Network, clear the list, run the tool, and inspect each request. None will contain your file. You can also switch to offline after the page loads; tools whose engine is already downloaded keep working.

Add text and images on top of a PDF
Edit PDF is for filling in and annotating documents that were never made into fillable forms: typing your details onto a scanned application, adding a note or a stamp image, or placing a photo into a box on a form.
- Typing into a scanned form instead of printing, handwriting and rescanning it.
- Adding a company stamp or logo image to an invoice.
- Inserting a passport photo into the photo box of an application form.
Place text boxes and images, then adjust size and colour
Choose a page, add a text item or an image, and drag it into position. Text items have a font (sans, serif or monospace), size and colour; images can be resized. Everything you add sits on top of the original page, which is left unchanged underneath.
- Use black or dark blue text on forms; many offices reject other colours.
- Match font size to the form's existing text so entries fit their boxes.
This adds content; it doesn't rewrite existing text
Existing text in the PDF can't be changed or deleted here. Text items use a standard Latin font, so scripts such as Devanagari may not render; use an image of the text instead if you need them. Additions are not locked, so a recipient with a PDF editor could move them.
- Zoom in to check entries sit inside their boxes and lines.
- Check every page you edited, not just the first.
Edit PDF: questions
Can I change the existing text in a PDF?
No. This tool adds new text and images on top of the page. Existing text can't be retyped or deleted here.
How do I fill in a PDF form that isn't fillable?
Add a text item over each blank, set the font size to match the form, and drag it into place. Zoom in to check it sits inside the box.
Can I add a photo or stamp?
Yes. Add an image, then move and resize it on the page.
Can I type in Nepali or other non-Latin scripts?
Text items use a standard Latin font, so Devanagari and other scripts may not display. Adding the text as an image is a workaround.
Is the PDF uploaded to edit it?
No. Editing happens in your browser and the new PDF is saved from there.
