Counted with the browser's Performance API during the last job. It sees every request the page makes, but not what is inside them, so anything that is not a static download is counted above.
To check yourself: open DevTools → Network, clear the list, run the tool, and inspect each request. None will contain your file. You can also switch to offline after the page loads; tools whose engine is already downloaded keep working.

How to remove the password from a bank statement
Add the statement, type the password the bank told you to use and unlock it. The copy you download opens without a password, so you can merge it, upload it to a lender or convert it to Excel. Everything happens in your browser, which matters for a document full of account numbers.
Step by step
- 01Add the statement PDF.
- 02Type its password (see common formats on the tool).
- 03Unlock and download.
- 04Convert it to Excel next, if you need the transactions in a sheet.
What the password usually is
Banks announce the format in the statement email. The most common patterns are your date of birth (DDMMYYYY or DDMMYY), or part of your name or customer ID combined with your birth date or the last digits of the account number. The tool lists common formats under the password field.
Then turn it into a spreadsheet
Once unlocked, the PDF to Excel tool can put the transactions into columns for budgeting or accounting.
Questions
Is it safe to unlock a bank statement online?
Here the statement never leaves your device: qpdf runs inside your browser tab. Check the network meter on the tool; it stays at 0 B.
The password isn't accepted. What now?
Check capital letters and the date format the bank specified, with no spaces or slashes. If it still fails, the bank's help page or app states the exact format.
Will the unlocked statement still be valid?
The content is unchanged. Some lenders prefer the original bank email attachment, so keep that too.
