Counted with the browser's Performance API during the last job. It sees every request the page makes, but not what is inside them, so anything that is not a static download is counted above.
To check yourself: open DevTools → Network, clear the list, run the tool, and inspect each request. None will contain your file. You can also switch to offline after the page loads; tools whose engine is already downloaded keep working.

Fix sideways and upside-down videos
Phones decide orientation from how you hold them, and sometimes get it wrong: a video shot in portrait plays sideways, or one filmed upside down stays that way. Rotate video turns it 90° either way or 180°, and can mirror a flipped selfie video.
- Phone videos that play sideways on a computer or TV.
- Clips filmed upside down on a mount or dashcam.
- Mirrored front-camera videos where text reads backwards.
Lossless by default, baked in when needed
A plain rotation is written as display metadata in the MP4: the frames are copied untouched, so it's instant and keeps full quality, and every modern player, browser and social app honours it. Bake into the frames re-encodes the video so the pixels themselves are turned, for older editors or devices that ignore the metadata. Mirroring always re-encodes.
Check it where you'll play it
Open the result in the app you'll use. If it still shows sideways, that app ignores rotation metadata: run it again with Bake into the frames on. Re-encoded videos are H.264 MP4 at a bitrate based on the source.
Rotate video: questions
How do I rotate a video 90 degrees?
Add the video, choose 90° right or 90° left and press Rotate video. It's saved in seconds without re-encoding.
Does rotating reduce quality?
Not by default: the frames are copied and the rotation is stored as metadata. Only Bake into the frames and mirroring re-encode the video.
My rotated video still plays sideways. Why?
That app ignores rotation metadata. Rotate it again with Bake into the frames turned on.
Can I flip a mirrored video?
Yes. Turn on Mirror to flip it left to right; you can combine it with a rotation.
